births = cake.
lots and lots of cake.
and cookies.
and burgers.
and cupcakes.
and treats.
all that stuff.
not that i intend on cutting out sweets ... i planned on doing the weekend thing. but then yesterday was casey's birthday, and i may or may not have had two cupcakes plus a slice of cake. and a piece of pizza.

Birthdays are tough indeed. And so are holidays. All it takes is a holiday to throw me off track completely.
What I've been doing is just working out a little more when I have a treat. Or I will just eat smaller meals the rest of the day if I know I'm gonna have a treat later.
HEY!!!! This blog is so awesome.
I need to give you back all your P90X stuff!! THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME BORROW IT ALL! You rock my world.
I guess the only advice I can give is if you eat junk don't let it get you down. Just start fresh the next day or even after the treat (just tell yourself you'll eat really well the rest of the day.) You can do it Stef!! I believe in you!!!
I totally would make that deal with you, but I've realized that whenever I limit myself like that it totally backfires on me. I end up craving everything and then I eventually go crazy and eat a ton of crap. So... I'm just gonna try to ease up on the treats without limiting them to one day. We'll see how that goes. Let me know how you do with that. Its much harder than I imagined. I definitely need some kind of treat once a day or I start to lose it.
i know! it seems like mormons have it harder because we celebrate so many things and have so many babies = so many birthday parties all over this breeding place.... and most of the other population is celebrating with a glass of wine. :)
